Jamie (5RN) completed this fabulous project for his homework project on life cycles. As well as finding out all the information, he used modelling clay to create these great models of the different stages of a frog’s development.
Our Year 5 pupils have just returned after having enjoyed an amazing camp at Porthpean. James (above) and Eva (below) captured their highlights with some fantastic illustrations whilst Leonnie wrote about her experience in this A-Z Poem.
We are so glad that everyone had such a fantastic time and a special well done to these three for sharing their camp memories in such a creative way!
Inspired by their visit to the Eden Project and learning about the Kombai Tribe, Year 5 have designed and made their own rainforest shelters.
The designs had to include a water filtration system and the shelters all have their own little touches, such as the double storey shelter from Euganie complete with hammocks to the washing hanging up on James and Riley’s shelter and the bed and table which can be found in Jude and George’s shelter.
As well as some impressive DT skills, the class worked well with their partners to design and produce these shelters. Well done to you all!
