Jess (6RW) has written this amazing metaphor poem about an octopus. You can read the whole poem by clicking the link below:
Amelia (5RN) has been learning the poem, ‘The Highwayman’ and used this as the inspiration for this beautifully presented comic strip.
Miss Nile and Mrs Body were amazed to see something in the pictures they have never seen before – as well as the story of Bess and the Highwayman, their horses also fall in love.
Amelia followed this up with this diary account from Bess:
What superb work. Well done Amelia!
Year 5 were set a challenge to present information on a life cycle for their homework. We have already featured one of these (here) but had to also share this fantastic work from Stanley.
Amazing work – well done!
Year 3 pupils had a lovely time on the beach and used this as the starting point for writing a report. Please click below to read Mawgan’s report of the day he went on his school trip – he has been focusing on using conjunctions.
As part of their transition, our Year 6 have been writing stories (on any subject that interests them) to take to their secondary school.
We thought you woud like to read a couple of these. Please follow the links below to read the stories:
Well done to both of our budding authors!
