The Jabbermockery

Pupils in Year 5 used the poem 'The Jabberwocky' by Lewis Carroll as the inspiration to write their own poems. Here is one of the examples, as written by Jack from 5N
'Twas Thursday and the naughty boys,
Did gyre and gimble in the gym,
All mimsy was Miss Borogrove,
And Mr ICT was grim.
Beware the computer man my friend,
His keyboard that clicks,
His pet computer mouse that bites,
Beware the deputy eagle,
And shun the evil virus snatch!
He took his electronic whiteboard pen in hand:
Long time the problem's end he sought -
So rested he by the electronic whiteboard,
And sat a-while in thought.
And as in toughish thought he sat,
The ICT man with eyes of flame,
Came typing through the cloakroom doors,
And logged off as he came!
He thought real fast as he went past;
The well-placed banana skin when slipper-crash,
He left him dead and with the SIM (brain),
He went galumphing back.
"And hast though got the SIM, Simon?
Come to our desk," cried the girls.
"Oh Thursday, Quelle heure! Calais!"
They chortled in their joy!
'Twas Thursday and the naughty boys,
Did gyre and gimble in the gym,
All mimsy was Miss Borogrove,
And Mr ICT was dead!
